Has this problem been fixed?

Is this problem being worked on?

Any progress on the problem?

Is there even any interest in fixing this problem?

If I sound frustrated, I am because this problem was reported back in June and it only surfaced when the TrackIr 5 software came out and it is not unique to my machine. As it stands now I am still using the 4.37 software.

:(

We are interested in the issue, and have flaggged it an issue with the new software, but unfortunately there probably will not be a resolution to the issue, until we are closer to releasing version 5.1 of the software.

The problem is even worse:
When assigning joystick button 1 or 2 to e.g. Center or Pause function in the TrackIR 5 software, it gets triggered by mouse button 1 or 2, too.
This causes problems for me when clicking on cockpit items in FSX.

Do you see this issue with the 4.1.037 software?

I installed 4.1.037 in addition to 5.0 Final B, using only the USB drivers from 5.0 Final B:
When starting version 4 and configuring joystick button 1 to pause, only the joystick toggles pause, the mouse does not.
(I have not tried a second joystick)

When closing version 4 and starting version 5 again, joystick button 1 configured to pause: both, joystick button 1 and mouse button 1 toggle pause.

I will switch to version 4 for now.

Hi,
I appearently have the same kind of issue using 5.0 Final B where as my mouse-button 3 (wheel button), used for 'precision' is being mirrored by the up-trim button on my Saitek yoke. I can also conflict mouse-button 4 with the down-trim button on the yoke by changing the precision assingnment. I can see the mirror/conflict with the 'Precision' indicator at the bottom of the TrackIR Interface, without any active games.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 5.0 Final B several times today and manually cleaned out the registry of any references to 'NaturalPoint' before attempting the last install, all to no avail. I also unplugged all my USB devices and plugged them back in, one at a time, before the last reinstall as well.

I don't know when this problem started but nothing has changed on my Rig since I custom built it back in May, specifically for FSX. I can see that the USB devices are being enumerated seperately in the profile:

FWIW, I installed the latest version of TrackIR 4 last night without changing anything else. Using TrackIR4, I do NOT have the same issue of button conflicts between the yoke and the mouse. The same GUIDs for the yoke and mouse were enumerated in the TrackIR4 'flight' profile as the TrackIR5 'flight' profile.

One other note; I also came across the fact that in the TrackIR5 interface, I can grab the view by pointing the mouse and left-cick and drag the view, just as if I had moved my track-clip pro. Am I supposed to be able to change the point-of-view by clicking and dragging the mouse on the TrackIR5 interface?

Some more setup details: OS = WinXP_x64, TrackIR5 camera with Track Clip Pro.

It is an issue that we have seen with the 5.0 software, and are looking into it.
