Windows XP mouse settings have no effect

Post by Roenie »

My Windows XP (SP3) mouse settings have no effect on the speed and acceleration of Smartnav 4. It does affect the movement of my regular mouse. What could be the cause of this behavior?

No third party mouse drivers are installed.

(If you have no idea, just tell me that...)

Regards, thanks,
Roenie

It should effect the speed settings, but is also effected by the speed settings within the SN software itself.

In my case, the speed and acceleration settings in Windows have absolutely no effect on the movement of the cursor when moved using the smartnav device and software. only the smartnav software affects it.

If the settings in Windows did have an effect, I might be able to benefit from that in terms of accuracy, as Kevin suggests in his post here: http://forum.naturalpoint.com/forum/ubb ... 0#Post2620

Nope, but I used to. I'll try reinstalling smartnav 4 and will report back.
