Hardware mounting for safety goggles?

Post by SimForMotion »

We have a few issues with the current head mounts for the reflectors. The headphones are not always appropriate for a classroom setting and the hatbill is too flimsy and not "hygienic" enough to share said hat. Since we design simulators and will have multiple students using the sims we would like to have a safety goggle design since the students will all be required to wear them and goggles pose no "hygiene" issue. We currently do have the developer SDK and hardware and we could even fabricate the goggle style if possible. When we go to final production we will have to have a few hundred. Please let us know.

Hello:

I totally understand your request. For the TrackIR SDK, we do not support custom 3 marker configurations, but we do support it with the Tracking Tools. This would require 3 R2 Cameras and software, more expensive than a TrackIR, but much more configurable.

You can email me at jim at naturalpoint dot com if you want to discuss the application further and some ideas that could make it work.
