Operation Flashpoint
I read that Operation Flashpoint is trackIR enabled so that I can use it to look around and use the mouse to move around. Is this true? How can I set it up?

I started a thread about that a while ago... but I think it's gone now...
Re: Operation Flashpoint
Off topic, sort of but how did you get your 3D glasses to work? I have been trying for a week and I am about to return them.
The NVIDIA drivers don't do what they are supposed to and the ED Activator keeps turning off.
We really need to get all this standardized!
I have the latest drivers too 44.03(stereo version)

Re: Operation Flashpoint
Codemasters prolly isn't interested in making TIR work in OFP since the OFP2 is already being made. So any1 else? If I could even program a working autoexec.bat I'd do it myself I'm quite amazed that no1 has done it since it would suite the game so perfectly. I'd even pay some money to get that support on OFP and I'm sure that so would many others

The problem is (what I have heard) that you need two mice, atleast for the mouse emulation, and that is a thing in directx...
However I don't know for the enhanced mode, that would be the best soulution I guess, but you probibly need some info on the game to make it work, and I don't know if BIS wants to give that info out...

Re: Operation Flashpoint
BIS absolutely should give out that info, TIR support would just be sooooo perfect in the game, probably more perfect than it is in FB. Can you imagine running around the woods at dark with your NV on and scanning the horizon for unsuspecting foes? Or piloting a chopper or some other vehicle... would just rule with TIR. I guess the major concern is that it would give a huge advantage to whoever has TIR over those who dont.

Re: Operation Flashpoint
I have Track IR working in OFP. Just assign the same hot key to "enable head tracking" as you have assigned "mouse look". There by turning both on at once. Look around as you run etc. Then when you're ready to have a static view again just hit the key again to turn both off.
It wasa bit finiky at first.
As an alternative I got a "Nostromo SpeedPad" It's a left handed programable keypad. I programed a macro that turns on the "head tracking" and then turns on the "Mouse Look" then when it's pressed again reverses the order.
It is awesome now that it works.
