SMTPE Timecode Support

Post by khansen »

Can you reveal a ballpark schedule for when SMPTE timecode through the OptiHubs will be supported?

Thank you,

I am currently not aware of a internal timeline for that features release.

Hello:

Thanks for the request. We do have SMPTE support on our development list. I would look more towards the end of the year, for a Beta release.

Thanks, both Vincent and Jim. Although we'll need to find another way to accomplish what we need until then, I'm looking forward to the addition of SMPTE support and would be happy to be available to help during the test phase.

I was wondering if there is an update on SMPTE support in Arena.

SMPTE is fully supported through the eSync device, which is available as of this week.

SMPTE support is not fully implemented through the OptiHub at this time, though the jack does exist.
