This is something that has never happened before but has now become a regular thing. Even WORSE is that I cannot turn it off even using Task Mgr. Only a reboot will get it back.
It will also not work (usually) if I exit FSX and then restart it later. Sometimes it will continue working but will not recenter. Attempting to close brings up the "closing client" windo and it just stays there with the Win 7 activity donut circling.
Specs are: Win 7 Ultimate, ASUS P6X58D Premium MB, Intel corei7 LGA 1366 at 2.28GHz, 6 GB Corsair DDR3, Intel 160GB Solid State HD, Sapphire Radeon 5870 graphics. Graphics drivers tested are 10.4, 10.5, and 10.6.
TrackIR 5 Stops Working after first or second flight.
Re: TrackIR 5 Stops Working after first or second flight.
Are you connecting the TrackIR directly to the PC, or are you using a USB hub?
Do you have the camera connected to the TrackCLip Pro?
Do you have the latest motherboard bios, USB drivers installed for the PC?

Re: TrackIR 5 Stops Working after first or second flight.
I have tried it connected directly to the PC and also to a powered hub. I forgot to say that I am using the TrackClip Pro. Havent tried the regular track clip but will do so tomorrow.
New PC with the latest in all drivers and bios. I have quite a few add-ons: Ultimate terrain, Ultimate Traffic, Real Environment Extreme, Active Sky Enhanced, Ground Environment Extreme, ORBX Pacific Northwest, FS2Crew for JS41, It's Your Plane, And Radar Contact 4. I have been turning these off one at a time trying to find the culprit. So far, no luck. Next I will turn them all off and add one at a time.
Actually, as long as I have TrackIR, Radar Contact, and It's Your Plane working properly, the others just add eye candy.
