"No Device detected"

Hello !

A few days ago I buyed Trackir 5. I installed the software v5, plugged in the device. All went fine, it worked. I played FS2004, it was great.
The next day after booting and starting the software i got the message "no device detected" the whole time.
I tried another usb-port, I have re-installed, I tried the version 4 of the software, i did several reboots: no results.

Is it possible, that i have a hardware defect after one day ?
I have Windows Vista and MS2004.

Are you pluuging directly into the PC, or using a hub?

Have you tried the device on another PC?

I plug direct into the PC.
I didn�t try another PC, maybe tomorrow.

Non of the LEDs are on, whether the red nore the green.
Must they go on after starting the software or after plug in ?

if the device is plugged in, and the software is started, with an object within the camera view, the green LED should come on.

Ok. I�ve testetd the device on another pc with XP.
After plugging in the first time there were no message that there is a new hardware or there will be a new driver installed. After starting the software it was the same message; No device.
Is the device dead after one day of work ?
