TrackIR Keymapping Utility

Post by siruotoko »

This is the first post for me , hello guys.

I made a utility software for TrackIR enhancedmode that emulates Keyboard input for DirectInput games with key look.

here > http://kaf.tri6.net/trackmapper/

My first goal was to use TrackIR2 with WWIIOnline , so this software is optimized for it but may be usefull on any other games with key look cockpits.

This will work on Windows2k/XP and DirectInput games.
Not tested on 98/Me.

It's more functionable than PPJoy/TIR2Joy/JoyToKey combo.

If you have any problem with OFP, or any idea you have, it's very pleased to inform me to audit this utility.

Kafuji,

I hope you can get some kickback from NaturalPoint. After seeing the responses from some of the WWIIOL guys using your software, I am ordering TrackIR today. I am sure there will be many more of us. Thanks for filling the gap that both developers had not yet been able to get to.

Hello:

I just wanted to drop in here and say how much we all love the new TrackMapper program. The new version is also excellent. We will be supporting this on our web site.

Thanks jim ... I'm very glad to letting many ppl to know there's a practical solution to use TrackIR with keyboardlook games.

You may put screens and explanation, and also mirrors of distribution files of my program on the site.

Wow this keymapper works great, I just tried it in CFS3 after putting it back on my system to test it out.

Great stuff, I may just look at WW2 Online again as I still have a account with them.

Hmm, well, I didn't get it working right...
But I have the old track IR (not track IR2), so that may be the problem...

I found that sometimes when starting the Track Mapper softwear it doesnt pick up that Track Ir is running, if you hit the F9 key to switch between enhanced mode and mouse emulation a couple of times it will then start tracking.

I have just setup a profile for OPFP and it works great in looking all around, with this softwear and Track IR there is no flightsim or game that uses the keypad for looking around out of reach now.

Great work.
