the POV, is going to be slightly dfferent as you have your head slightly different recenter the view itself, with F12.

Basically what you would do, for each aircraft is adjust eyepoint numbers to increase/decrease the position along the 3 axes

Airbus A321( eyepoint=48.2, -1.35, 1.7 )

order: longitudinal, lateral, vertical.

So if you increase the first number (48.2) then the eyepoint would move foward(longitudinal plane)

changing the (-1.35)would move the axis lateral across the aircraft (left/right)

adjusting the (1.7) would move the eyepoint vertical (up/down)

I guess what is confusing to me is if it a point of view problem why not each and every flt and aircraft. I can reboot and get the screen I need sometimes, and everything is perfect and I am not sitting any different, monitor height is not changed It is not a consistent problem each and every flt. Not because I turn anything off or on:IE Spyware, Virus Protection or any other programs. It's just a roll of the dice how things happen in the start up process. Thanks for your patience.

But you maybe in a slightly different position, or the IR points were picked up slightly different, when you put the TrackClip on. Recentering the IR software (F12 - default) will reset everything.

Thanks again been doing the F12 thing since I took it out of the box. Centers as it should but only sometimes 1 row of gauges.Sometimes complete panel. Now the good news. Not sure If I was using wrong start up procedure but for the last 20 attempts in a couple of hours I have been starting FSX than GEX turning on TRIR it searches and "bingo" I have the 2 lights and full panel & gauges.. I always had the lights on the camera but not a full set of gauges. As stated this may have been a startup error in my procedure but FSX-GEX-TRIR sequence has worked 20 times. For the time being it seems to be working as should be. Once again thanks.

Hi Vincent:

In an earlier response you mentioned a keyboard method for handling the CFG file problem in FS9. Since I have FS9 and a TRIR Pro installed with FSX that I can't use because I can seem to figure out how to do the CFG thing was wondering if the FS9 corrections are any easier. Have an extra HD maybe install FS9 with TR and try that.Probably have to uninstall TR from FSX.Sorry this thing is all over my head hate to think about selling my TR on line since I am out of the "refund" peroid.Beem trying to work this out. Can't seem to find anybody in my part of the world that understands this.

The TrackIR does not need to be uninstalled and reinstalled to run FS9 as well.

Is there somewhere I can find the details how to set the CFG with the keyboard or whatever I need to do.
Thanks

It's an FS9 keyboard setting.

If you open FS9, look at the settings window -> Controls -> assignments -> Views. This will show you the hotkey to use to adjust the seat position.

Hi Nagua,

I think I had a similar problem with TIR in FSX.
There is an interesting webpage about this: http://www.calclassic.com/propliner_tutorial_fsx.htm

Perhaps this helps.

Personally I found it too complicated to do that and finally I figured out that all I needed was to zoom out ( the "-" key on the keyboard) to the max and then recenter myself in a convenient spot (F12).

Just my two cents trying to help. :)
