Windows 7 for Smartnav

Post by armo07 »

I am using an old Smartnav (it has a serial number less than xxxx, and runs off software version 2.2 on XP)

Will this work with Windows 7? Will this old hardware work with the latest version of the Smatnav software?

Thank you,
Sam

depending on the camera serial number. If you are restricted to using the 2.2 software, then you will not have Windows 7 support.

I have Version 3.2 build 37. Is this compatible with 64-bit Windows 7?

Yes, SmartNav 3.20.037 is compatible with Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit). We posted an update yesterday with some additional improvements for Windows 7.

looking at the serial number you had posted, that would be a SmartNAV 4 AT, which should allow for the dwell clicking software to function, as well as have full Windows 7 support.

If the actual camera number is 11499 or below then he will need to look at upgrading to a new camera, as the older software/hardware does not have support for Windows 7
