Head motion removal
I have read it all over the forum that you can remove the head motion from the face but I can't seem to find the option to do that. I'm exporting the example file using .fbx. Can anyone show me where the option is and how can I remove the head motion from the example file? I'm using "Arena Expression Official Release - 1.7.000 Final." Do I have to install something else also? Thanx in advance.

Re: Head motion removal
you need to have the Face_template in the scene inorder to have that option. just load that data in and you should be good to go.

Re: Head motion removal
I have a Face_template in the scene. I tried making a face template using the example file but whenever I try doing it the Arena crashes. So I did it on my file, this is the only option I get when I try to export it as fbx.
Is this wat I shud be lookin at? I can't see any other option anywhere else.

Yep you should see the option in there.
I'd redo the capture but keep the head template/skeleton in the scene and the box should appear.

Re: Head motion removal
I re did the capture, but I didn't get any box that asked me for that option. So when you are doing the capture, are you using any facial head rig, as in a face with head bone and all the facial bone attached to the head bone or something. Which later allows you to remove the head motion. Are you doing something like that or are you capturing with just head markers and template face. I'm using 23+4 marker face template. My whole pipeline is stuck at this point. Thanx for the help.

ok, so found the solution for that. I was exporting as fbx which didn't give me that option. C3D gave me the option for the no head movement. Which I took to motion builder to export to fbx into max.
