SmartNAV 4 AT vs Windows 7

Post by shartwell@charter.net »

I have used SmartNAV 4 AT,with Windows XP without any trouble. I have a new computer with Windows 7 & I can't use it. I have downloaded all updates, etc. as said in other posts, but it didn't help. What should I do?!

What version of the software have you downloaded, and installed?

Is the SmartNAV detected in the system device manager?

My husband returned the new computer last night. He spoke to somebody at SmartNav who suggested that we find a computer with a higher powered USB port. Thank you for your help.

I would also try an external USB hub, with it's own power supply
