Trackir 5 drifting

Having problem with Trackir 5 drifting. Whenever I look away from center to try to focus on a spot, the view always wants to drift back toward center. Sometimes it's slow and sometimes not so slow. Is this drifting normal? Thanks.

Drifting can sometimes be a result of your natural head movement if, say for example, your body shifts to the left as you turn your head to the right. As a test to see if this occurs during use, I would recommend placing the Camera and the TrackClip on a level surface facing eachother at a distance of about 2-3 feet, and manually turning the clip then watching for drift.
