I have always enjoyed playing Mechwarrior, which is really a sim in its own right...
Although, MW3 is rather old, has anyone tried to use TrackIR Pro3 for a mech game?

Duke, funny enough I have and in MW4 as well. The version 3 TIR software in mouse mode will alow you to look around by taking controle of the torso twist and elevation.
There is one big reason why I do not use it in MW and FPS games.
Whilst it is possible to torso twist, you would need to use TIR for aiming and that is a real pain in the neck, literally.

LOL! Thanks for the reply... I am sure my wife will appreciate me not having a stiff neck... because who else will rub my neck and back... wait... hold on... maybe I need to look into this.
