I bought a TrackIR 5 and a TrackClip Pro today. The clip picks up several infrared specular reflections from my headset and other objects at certain angles, and decides it should track these instead of the LEDs. (even though the LEDs show in the tracking window as significantly bigger dots)
Is there a sensitivity setting that I'm not seeing? Light filtering doesn't do anything, nor does dot size.
Edit: Oh yeah, and I'm using the v4 software as 5 crashes immediately on starting it... It's the atioglxx.dll thing, though on Vista 32-bit.
Aha, it seems simply moving the clip further away from the headset helped. Still, it'd be nice if there was functional filter and if the newer software worked.
