Hi all. I just found about Track IR and I can't express the overwhelming need to own this product and use it supported games like Arma 2 and hopefully future games like BF3. This device really will provide a level of immersive gameplay that is unparalleled.
Anyway, my issue is I use a 42 plasma as my monitor... cue immersive gameplay LOL. I would estimate I'm about 4 foot from the plasma and it is positioned on the wall so my eyes are centered on the display, at least when I sit up straight.
Given the FAQs that suggest the device is more suited to standard computer monitors, I was wondering if anyone is using the device on a HDTV without the optimal distance and setup for your monitor. I really am hoping there is some workaround like somehow hanging the device in front of the HDTV. I woul certainly sacrifice some view on the display to gain the advantages this device offers to gameplay.
Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Workaround for Placement on HDTV?
Re: Workaround for Placement on HDTV?
Oh ignore my post... I just found a similar post and a great solution that includes mounting the device behind me and inverting the controls. WOOT! This will work for me!
