lost-tech drivers won't install.

Post by LeithWebster »

I have a pre 14000 serial number Smart Nav and downloaded the drivers for it, but I cannot seem to get it to run on Windows 7.

I have tried the instantly obvious compatibility settings and so forth, but they don't seem to work.

Has anyone managed to get one of the older pieces of hardware to work on Windows 7? My search-fu seems to be poor at the moment, because I couldn't find mention of it on here, and I am sure I can't be the only one that bought one :).

Hello -

The version required for SmartNav units in that serial range is not compatible with vista or 7, as development for those products ended several years before the release of Vista. SmartNav 3 or 4 units with 3.20.030 or higher software is required for Windows 7.
