Hi Katharsis,
As Mike mentioned earlier in the thread, "Due to the way it was coded in game by the manufacturer, TrackIR thinks A10 is Black Shark, and will use the profile that you set for Black Shark."

Hi Seth,
i know that but thats no solution.
DCS:A-10C is meanwhile running as DCS.exe and DCS:Blackshark runs still as simulator.exe.
So whats the problem here with TrackIr to recognize? Maybe needs to be updated?
The problem is, that i have two totally different profiles for this flightsims running. So i cant use the same one for both. And the Hotkey/Profile is no option for me.

Re: DCS A-10C TITLE
The problem is that TrackIR does not look at the name of the program. We provide software manufacturers with code to implement TrackIR functionality in their games, and part of that code is a unique ID number that tells TrackIR what game it is. The problem here is that they used the Black Shark number for both Black Shark and Warthog instead of using a different number for Warthog.
Essentially, both programs are starting up, looking for TrackIR, and saying "Hello, I'm Black Shark". The only way this can be corrected is if the manufacturer of Warthog fixes the error and includes the fix in a patch. They have been notified of the error.

Are different profiles stored as separate files? If so it would be a simple thing to write a short batch file to swap the two files prior to running the game. If not maybe not so simple

User motion/curve profiles are stored as different XML files, but the game files are not. They're registered with unique IDs, and the game developer determines which ID the TrackIR software recognizes based on what they entered into their own engine. So, it's not something that can be altered in any way on our end.
