I have been using the TIR5 pro for a while and recently developed a problem, when I turn right past about 110 degrees the display just bounces all over the place. Looking left, I can go past 180 degrees with no problem. Up and down is also fine.
Have tried positioning the receiver in many different ways with no difference (further away, higher, lower, more left, more right.etc).
Looking at the camera view shows a centered 3 led display that tracks smooth when panning left or right. It is the 3d display that bounces around.
I am using the latest software 5.1.3
Windows 7 x64
Any suggestions?

Hello -
You're using the TrackClip Pro, correct?
What color are the markers in the camera view? Do they change at all when you get to the point where they start bouncing?

Thanks for replying,
Yes, I am using the trackclip pro
The colors of the leds do not change color and the leds track smoothly both left and right.
I have also tried different profiles with the same results.

Hmm, this is very strange. A rapidly spinning (out of control) screen is usually the result of loss of lock on the three markers on either the TrackClip or TrackClip Pro. Would it be possible to set the camera view to the forefront (right click in the heads up display and select camera view) then take a screen capture video of you moving your head to the points where it loses control?

IIRC aren't the top and bottom lights supposed to line up vertically when centered?

Mine seems to be doing the same thing. Trackir 5 with the clip. I thought is was because there can be a light source to my right but now , because it gets darker earlier there is no other light source. It can be really distracting when I play ROF and suddenly am staring at the floor.

Re: Erratic movements when looking right
For any one else with this kind of problem, I seemed to have improved the tracking by moving the receiver lower and directly inline with the pro clip.
I originally had the receiver about 6 inches above my head on a shelf above the monitor.
