Using software version 3.1.3 and mouse emulation its possible to get TRackIR working to some degree in BF2 via the mouselook feature.
However you need to add this feature (mouse emulation) back into the version 4 software to allow the binding of hot keys to joysticks etc.
Can you please do this as a temp fix till the next patch
I only use it for choppers, and i fly wiht a joystick.
Completely disabling the mouse axis functions is required.

I saw a post on totalbf2 saying mouse emulation was enabled in one of the version 4's

There is no link... its included in the version 4 software. You have to open the TrackIR4 folder and run a file called "TIRMouse.exe".
The full path should be something like this on your hard drive:
C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\TIRMouse.exe

It is also in your window's start menu, in the TrackIR v4 folder, named "Mouse Emulation".

Thanks Mate I found it and have it working to a degree now
