TIR3 works fine in one sim but not another?

Post by DxyFlyr »

Quick question... My TIR3 has worked flawlessly in IL2 through the years. Upgrades to Win7, 64 bit. No problem. Still works great.

I'm flying Rise of Flight more often now. TIR3 seems to work ok; but occasionally I get limited movement in one direction or another. Seems to happen when the action gets heavy. As far as I know I'm using the same profile as IL2. Sometimes, I can fix it by re-adjusting the hat on my head a little and re-centering.

Is this a sign I need more graphics memory or ram as there is no problem with IL2?

Possibly. What are the specs for your computer?

64 bit Win7
Quad core i5
8gb corsair ram
GTX 285 1gb vid card

Showing it's age, I guess.

Does it happen if you drop your display settings?

Yes, just tested... Still problems in RoF when graphic settings are low. Still no problems in IL2 with any graphic settings.

I think I've fixed this issue. I went and made the response curves much more aggressive (even more so than the "aggressive" setting). I can get a full range of motion now.
