Post by skippergr »

Hallo. I want to ask if the TrackIR supports Brothers in Arms: Road To Hill 30.

Thank you

Not yet, but we will put it on the list of games people are interested in.

Will it include any flying or driving elements?

Is anyone else interested in TrackIR support in this game?

Hello Warren,

here is anotherone interested in TrackiR support of that game. Perhaps a short wish list from me:

(no driving or flying elements)
-Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30
-Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood
-Americas Army 2.5
-Vietcong
-Vietcong 2
-Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault

(only few driving elements)
-Hidden&Dangerous 2 (incl. Sabre Squadron)

(lots of driving & flying elements)
-Battlefield 2
-Battlefield Vietcong
-Battlefield 1942

But now a few other games come into my mind again, which use some sort of seperated body&head movement:

-Morrowind (and perhaps Elder Scrolls: Oblivion?)
-Thief 3
-Severance
-Ultima IX

If you need some more (specific) infos on certain games, i would be pleased to help.

Bran, you forgot Splinter Cell. OK no flying but the very nature of the game is begging for TIR implementation

Hey Barred,

it surely is a fantastic game!
But I must admit, I never played it!
Don't get me wrong, I am not a simulation fanatic! But...

when it comes to FPS, I want a fully functional 1st person view AND ironsights...
when it comes to racing games, I want a fully functional cockpit/dash view...
when it cames to flight sims, I want a cockpit...hehe

I guess TiR actually needs some sort of 1st person view or cockpit to be usefull (just imagine driving a car in 3rd person view, what would be the benefit to look left or right?)

I agree Bran if there is not a cockpit for air or car I am not inerested. Normally for fps games I prefer 1st person and iron sights with no cross hairs, but Splinter Cell is the exception for me.

It is heavily dependant on your suroundings just like the Thief games (which I also love), having the 3rd person view is not that off putting in SC. Actually it adds making it feel like taking part in a techno thriller film.

I'm also interested in Brothers in arms - Earned in blood to work with my Trackir 3 pro.

Here is my FPS wish list for trackIR support for games I own:
COD
COD United Offencive (can drive tanks and jeeps)
Brothers In Arms- EIB
BattleField 2

Games I'm thinking about buying:
COD 2

I've been watching and reading forums - waiting on track IR to start working with FPS, that will be a great day!!

BTW - I use my TIR 3 pro and love it with il-2 and Pacific fighters - its fantastic!!! Thanks NaturalPoint
