Multiple windows

Post by den19 »

I run FSX with 3 vc views open on one pc (Windows 7 64 bit). When I use my TIR it will only move the view on the one vc view which holds the focus. Is there a way to link all 3 views together so that all 3 respond together to the TIR and move in unison?

Regards

I believe that FSX requires the image to be stretched across all three monitors, using an adapter like TripleHead2Go, for TrackIR to be used across all of them. Is that the setup you're using, or do you have a different approach?

I actually have 6 screens on 2 TH2G units spanning approx 110 degrees, but there is no way that one vc view can be stretched accross 6x1440x900 ( my graphics card is nVidea 450gts).

So I have 3 vc views open and tile them across the 6 screens with the centre view centred on the screen3 to screen4 joint and the other 2 one either side of that for some side view. However I also nned to pan up and down to see instruments etc but this ruins the alignment across the 3 views as only the centre one moves. This is why I would like them to all move together in response to the TIR input.
Hope that clarifies it- I know it's a tall order!

I've just solved the problem!

There is a setting in fsx itself to "link all views" together.
Don't know why I didn't look there first- still we all live and learn don't we?
