Hello,
we had a lab with 12 cameras v100 R2 working properly. We have just acquired 6 cameras (v100 R2 too) to have more precision, but I have a problem when I try to calibrate with all 18 cameras.
There is an error when Arena calculates the camera calibration, the last lines of the status of calculation are the following:

A message says that I should increase data points, but I have tried from 50 to 500 points and the result is the same. I have no idea where is the problem. I also tried to calibrate with only 12 cameras (6 new and 6 old) but, in this way, it works correctly.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you very much,
Gil

What version of Arena are you using?

The version of Arena software is 1.7.3 .
Do you know what can be the problem?
Thank you very much,

Re: Calibration 18 cameras v100 R2
First things first, It's probably best to mention that if it is at all possible for you to switch to the three marker calibration, you should. In 1.7.3, three marker is significantly better than one marker, and can produce much greater results.
Having said that, with 1 marker calibration you may be experiencing this issue for a range of reasons that could include camera positioning/aiming, dead space within your volume, or mixed lens types in mixed V100/V100R2 systems (due to multiple distortion models). It could be that any number of variables that add to the complexity of the calibration are causing the failure.

lying on your back and waving the marker above you, can help quit a bit with the single marker calibration, as an example.

The best advice, really, is to be as comprehensive with the single marker as possible.
