Max samples for calibration?

Post by ORB_Lab »

I've been performing calibrations for my OptiTrack system that consists of 6 s250e cameras and even with "Apply and refine" it appears to only be using about 100 samples to do the calibration. Assuming more data would generate a more accurate calibration, is there any way to get Tracking Tools to use more samples?
During the wanding, I'm collecting over 2000 samples per camera.

Samples used for the calibration are selected from the total collected samples using a proprietary algorithm. The total number will increase slightly with an increase in total samples collected, as well as increase greatly when changing from low to medium, high, and very high.

Mike,

Thanks for the clarification. I've generally been very happy with the quality of our calibrations, so far, so I don't see it being an issue.
