(Sorry if this question has been asked before; I didn't find a previous post in my brief search.)
Is the number of markers in a trackable limited to 7? Is there any way to extend this, or to create a hierarchy of trackables with joints connecting them?
I am using the Tracking Tools to record trajectory data from a six-leg robot. I would like to track each leg as well as a trackable for the body. Since each leg should get at least one marker (ideally 3+), I need at least 9 markers in a trackable, but ideally upwards of 20.
Thanks,
Sam

Yes, the maximum number of markers in a single rigid body is 7. This is due to the fact that with each additional marker the solve becomes exponentially more difficult. 7 is the cut off where rigid bodies can be solved without that process extending into the next frame.
We do not currently have a heirarchy system for rigid bodies, but it's a great idea.
