Hi,
I'm on trackir 4 with hat clip using lastest v4 driver. When flying Strike Fighters or Il2, looks like the v4 driver imposes a limit on the pitch/yaw axis, making it difficult to check 6 o'clock. especially in Il2 where the pitch axis is limited to 90 degrees only.
I know it's due to v4 software since when using v5 the limit is gone. but v5 is overly sensitively for me inducing nausea at times no matter how much i adjust the profile and settings.
so i wonder if there's a way to remove the limit for the v4 driver? there's a registry edit on the website for il2 but seems to only work for v3 and earlier versions.

Re: V4 software view limit
There may be some limiting factor for yaw in the profile you are using in V4. Are you using one of the preset curves for yaw or a custom one?
You can also copy profiles from version 4 to version 5, but not the other way around. I personally find the UI for 5 to be much easier to use for profile editing.

Re: V4 software view limit
hi jeff,
here's my profile for version 4.
It's a modified version from long time used falcon4.0 profile with custom settings. I copied it into my V5 "profile" folder and loaded it, launched il2 and there's no view limit. same one in V4 has the limit.
I did the same for Strike fighters 2 awhile back with the same symptom... Something else must be in play here...
here's my profile for version 4.

Re: V4 software view limit
I am still looking into the differences here and what may be causing your limit. I'll let you know when I know more.
