TrackIR 5 not working properly

Hi Guys,

Sorry if i'm a bit abrupt but i am about to put this thing in the bin or return it!!! I just bought trackir 5 and am using with FSX+EZCA and it wont actually follow the simplest of head movements - e.g. i put my head down, and trackir makes the view GO TO THE RIGHT!!!

If i'm lucky the whole view will shake uncontrollably in circles for a minute or two then its ok.

Hi John,

I am sure we can troubleshoot what is going on and get you up and running. It seems there may be an issue with interference from a light source or reflection. Also, there could be a setting we may need to adjust. Could you let me know if you are using the hat clip or TrackClip Pro? Also, what device is selected in the TrackIR software? Do you see any red spots or lines in the camera view?
