Track-IR fooled by glasses?

Post by virtualfighter »

Hello all,

today i received my Track-IR device, and used the clip for the baseball-cap to check al the features this thing has.
but while i was looking at the ''camvieuw'' page of the software, there were five dots instead of three.

now it comes: i have glasses, and those created the two extra dots, wich are red coloured on the ''camvieuw'' screen (just like eyes).
this happens when i pitch my head up.
when i take those glasses of, its all o.k.: just the three dots from the clip.
the Track-IR device reacts often sensitive to any other ''dot'' beside the normal three from the cap-clip.
but without my glasses, i can only see my pc screen from a very close distance....

who has notice this too?

The camera may be a little sensitive when using the TrackClip versus the TrackClip Pro. I recommend adjusting the Light Filter Threshold. You may have better results if you increase this value.
You can find this in the Advanced Settings under the Camera tab. Let me know if you need further assistance.
