Purpose of side mini jack

Can someone tell me the purpose of the side jack.. (looks like 3.5mm) ?

Hello,

The older model TrackIR's were manufactured the same as our older SmartNav's. This jack is not used for the TrackIR. The SmartNav uses it for Ability Switches & Pedals.
