I just broke my sensor or camera to TrackIR 5 Pro. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. Tripped over it and pulled it out of the USB next to the desktop and the camera/sensor hit the chair and busted the little plastic side light or whatever that's suppose to stick in. I put the sensor behind me, using a big monitor but anyways ordered a new one just in case this one is really broke. Didn't load up Arma 3 yet to see but I was curious if Optitrack can be used for a camera instead of this TrackIR camera.
Is the Optitrack camera better? Im not really complaining but its a bitch sometimes recalibrating is all. If Optitrack is easier on that or has more than one camera setup to use for calibration I was going to buy that instead.
I don't know anything about Optitrack just glancing at the cameras right now.

Re: Optitrack
Hello,
The OptiTrack cameras will not work with the TrackIR software and they cannot be used as a TrackIR replacement.
