Monster FPS hit in X-Plane 10
Monster FPS hit in X-Plane 10
Just installed the demo version of X-Plane 10, and TrackIR 5 works fine for me EXCEPT that when I activate TrackIR my fps goes from for example 45 to 30 using my current rendering settings. In RoF or Il2 BoS I don't see ANY decrease in frame rate. Is there something about X-Plane 10 that causes this? I'm just running an I53570k 3.4 at 4.2 and a Gigabyte 7950 3 gb at 1000/1250. Could it just be too much game for an I5? I'd like to play X-Plane 10, but I'm sure not interested in it without TrackIR

Hello Selder,
I will look into this. I run an I-5 4670k @4.5ghz at home and an I-5 3350 @3.1ghz at work right now and don't notice any fps drop when I load up x-plane and TrackIR. Perhaps its the demo that is limiting you, or a setting that is holding you back. Have you tried setting the priority and Affinity for TrackIR to a higher level in the task manager?
