My clip broke at the joint at its 2y birthday just from regular careful use not even from falling and from what I can tell they havent improved the clip solidity yet.
It feels like a short life consumable rather than regular electronic equipment.
Does naturalpoint really expect people to rebuy a new unit every few years?
When are you going to fix trackclip?

Hi Vernum,
I'm sorry to hear that your TrackClip PRO has failed prematurely! While this does happen on occasion, it's definitely not our expectation for a unit to fail after two years. We actually have reworked the materials since you made your purchase, to enhance durability, but I know that this doesn't help with your situation. Since your unit is a year out of warranty, I am not sure if we can offer much assistance.
However, if you contact our support team at help.naturalpoint.com, I would be happy to escalate your ticket to our TrackIR Product Manager for further consideration.
