Hi all,
I'm using spheres strongly glued to some objects. Since they are moving they damage a lot and very fast. Now I've reached a critical point where my spheres are too damaged to be properly recognized as is by software, and where I cannot replace them since I would also destroy my objects themselves because of the glue
We have bought Optitrack reflective stickers MSC1025 and MSC1040 to repair them but stickers do not really resist to motions and this is not handy at all.
Can we buy a reflective paint that would be compatible with Optitrack? Have you tried your own?
Thank you

Hi Courrier,
I have been searching if there is a viable paint solution. I found old forum posts on other sites stating retroreflective paint will work. However, I couldn't verify this information.

Hi Dustin,
Thanks and sorry for this late reply.
I've been trying Starglow's Ultra-reflective paint without success it is not reflective enough.
Here is a comparison between a repaint marker and an original one:

Thanks for the status update. I will check that off the list as a potential fix for markers. Unfortunately I do no have other paints to recommend.
