Constrain pitch until a certain yaw is achieved

Post by CardinalBags »

I have my flight flight simulator FSX set up with a custom instrument panel that sits on my desk.

I have set the eyepoint height in the aircraft so that my panel lines up with the same point of the panel in the virtual cockpit. Makes for a very nice effect. In order to keep things lined up nicely, I have to constrain pitch motion, but when I turn my head to the right or left, I have to look down in order to see out the side windows based on the eyepoint height.

Can the pitch be constrained while yaw is at less than 40 degrees left or right of center, but when turned past that angle, then pitch could be enabled?

I know how to turn the constraints on or off a single parameter, but this question really asks, can you link two parameters together with an if statement. If yaw exceeds +45,-45 then pitch enabled = yes.

Hello CardinalBags,

Right now there isn't anything in the software that allows you to do this. Though I have added the feature to a request list so the Dev team can explore options.
