TrackIR 5 Lag

Hello,
I have a problem with my TrackIR 5. The movements are jerky. By searching on internet, I read that it could come from the F8 key. I did a test on the TrackIR 5.2 software (Version 5.2.200). When I turn my head, movements on "HeadsUP View" are jerky. When I hold the F8 key down, the movements are no longer jerky. Where does the problem and how to solve it?

F8 is the default key to swap profile mid-game without having to exit your game or simulation. I'm not sure how that would impact the smoothness of the tracking. Have you tried activating/deactivating precision mode by hitting F7?

Hello,
I observed that the operation of TrackIR is random. From the start of my PC or proper operation and there are no worries for the entire time the game is launched. Either it is bad and even after a reboot, it is not working again properly. The involvement of F8 is not always true. But when I've made the test it was obvious that when I held down F8 movements were not jerky.

Hello,
I had already tried activating / Deactivating precision Mode by hitting F7. It does not regulate the problem. the proper functioning of TrackIR is random. One day it works, and the next day it no longer works.

Is there any way you could capture a video of this issue? Have you tested out a different version of the TrackIR software?

I tested 5.2.2.Final and 5.2.Final versions with the same result

I just realized that the tracker has the same behavior if I hold pressed any key, not just the F8 key. I was focused on this key because I had read that the problem could come from it.

Any key? That makes this a little more interesting. Have you tried removing the software and drivers, cleaning out the registry of anything labeled "NaturalPoint" or "TrackIR", then installing an older version of the software? I would suggest loading version 5.1.3 Final to test if it has the same issue.

TrackIR not working at all! the green LED does not light up! I uninstalled the software, cleaned the registry, and reinstalled the version 5.1.3 but no change. I uninstalled everything, cleaned and reinstalled the latest version and still nothing.
