Hi, anyone able to help me here please?
I got TIR yesterday, downloaded the latest beta software and ran IForgotten battles.
Apart for the view wizzing around it looked as though it would be great and just need tweaking. Having restarted the computer the view still works but I have no joystick control, even in the control section and xp the joystick appears to be working. If I turn off the tir and run the game the hat view buttons work but not the movement axis or throttle. Any help would be appreciated.
I am using xp home edition, saitek x36 USB joystick and tir.

Are the trackIR and the X36 plugged into the same USB hub? This can sometimes cause the problem that you're describing. Try attaching the trackIR directly to your computer.

good of you to reply. I think I have isolated the problem to the software [Il2 forgotten Battles] rather TIR as I first thought. It all appears to be working ok in other games so I guess the FB is corrupt in some way.
The only problem I have know is tweaking the tir down to useable speeds etc..I am nearly there except that there is a tendancy for the tir view to slowly drift to the elft and i cnstantly have to use the f12 hot to re centre every 20 seconds or so? Any suggestions on this?
