I tried the new version out in RTCW yesterday and it was very jerky. I don't see a switch like there was in the older version for FPSs (which fixed this issue before).
Two questions. One, what makes it jerk so much in these games? If I use my mouse - it's smooth.
And, is there a way to make it work better?
What about FPS support in v2?
Re: What about FPS support in v2?
Try to set the mouseoverride delay to 0.
Maybe that will work.

Thanks, that did it!

TDog,
How is the product with FPS's?
I just ordered mine and am curious to see what it can do.
Most say it really doesn't do much for FPS's.
What are your thoughts?

sanatrue If you are a competetive FPS player, say like a fast-paced game like Unreal Tournament then you'll probably find TIR not precise enough. However, using the new auto-panning feature it can be quite fun and useful in single-player FPS games when you get used to it.

Sanatrue,
I would echo what Charvel said. I'm not a big time player - I've never learned to use a mouse - and only play single player mode. I doubt if it would be precise enough for online play.

Re: What about FPS support in v2?
Thanks for the info.
I'm not an online player either.
Just really enjoy the technology and trying to get a more realistic gaming experiece.
I received my 3D stereo glasses last week and they really are impressive. Still tweaking and they work better in some games than others. SWAT3 is incredible. Extremely impressive though. Targeting sight seems to be an issue but still working on the tweaks.
Hopefully game developers will get the hint and start implementing some of these new technologies into there games.
Anyway, got to go, but looking forward to the trackIR.
Keep on Gaming!!!
