Hi all,
I have two V120:Trios. I'm having a weird problem with one of them: I can't get Motive to display markers in Perspective view when the markers are more than about five feet away from the cameras. The markers do display, bright and clear, in the camera preview panes. Motive correctly identifies them, calculates their centroids, sizes, and aspect ratios. But they show up very intermittently in the Perspective view, which means they're useless - I can't track rigid bodies, or even set a ground plane.
I've fiddled with every single setting I can find. I've spent a couple of hours screwing with camera exposure settings, changing the reconstruction filter setting and other reconstruction options, and nothing seems to make any difference. Unplugged the camera head several times. I've even rebooted the computer, and uninstalled and then reinstalled Motive. Same behavior. When I plug the other V120:Trio in, looking at exactly the same markers, it works fine. The problem seems to be isolated to this one camera.
Any ideas?

Hi ghenshaw,
Thank you for describing your issue for the community.
Without being able to play with the devices, myself, it is hard to say what could be happening here. Are you loading any project files that may be adjusting settings between uses?
When you go back and forth between the two Trios all settings, including those in the Reconstruction pane are the same?
It sounds like there is a possibility one of the Trios is not working properly. Has it been dropped, bumped or damaged in any way? Perhaps the cameras have somehow fallen slightly out of alignment.
It would be useful if you could provide us with a .tak file from each device so we can look into this further.
Even better would be if we could arrange a remote session so that we can test, live, with you.
If you would like to troubleshoot this further with us, please feel free to open a Support ticket with us at help.naturalpoint.com
Cheers,
Steven
