Star Citizen TrackIR5 not recognized

Star Citizen or Insurgency does not recognize TrackIR5? Games are listed as supported!!!!
Anyone using these titles with TrackIR working?

Altowarrior,

Star Citizen has pulled support temporarily in order to implement it in a better fashion. I will have to look into Insurgency to see what issue is there.

Only the Insurgency, the Mod, not the Game does support TrackIR.


About star citizen, as far as i know, they used cryengine's private module. But it's not working anymore and the guy who did the code was fired/left the company but it will come back, give them time.

Tnx Lapin. I have the Steam version of Insurgency vanilla, zero mods.
Unfortunate trackIR does not work. Makes Insurgency just another FPS

I'll see if I can contact the company and see what we can do about getting it supported. It's odd that it would be in the mod and not the full game. Implementation shouldn't take them too long. All we have to do is convince them that they should.

Which mod or mods are you guys referring to that enables TrackIR 5?

This still does not work. Misleading since you advertise it on your homepage. What is the ETA for this working with star citizen?

That is truly up to them. The reason it is not currently functioning is because they had to work on internal components and won't implement it until they are ready. It should be soon, but as all Star Citizen backers know, that can mean anything.
