Load last used profile on startup

I am using TrackIR v5.4.1.26786 and it is generally working very well. There is one tiny problem though - every time I load my game (X-Plane) I have to go into TrackIR and load the appropriate profile.

This is a not a huge issue - but if the program could simply load the profile last used, that would be a bit help.

If you want to use the same profile each time you load a specific game, go to the titles tab in the software and assign the profile to the game/sim title by selecting it on the drop down menu. That way, each time you load that title, it will also load the profile you assigned.

You can make it so the profile never changes by checking the exclusive box. Then it will load the selected profile regardless of what title is loaded.

Sounds a good idea in practice. So far I have not seen it work - the titles you select do not get saved when the computer reboots.

It sounds to me like your PC isn't letting the Profilemap.dat be overwritten with new data. You can try to delete this file, make your changes and then restart the software. I'd like to know if that helps resolve your issue, please let me know the outcome once you are done.

The answer to my other post seems to have fixed most of the problem. ie delete settings.xml and exit/restart. That fixes saving the application settings, and it now seems to save the Title settings.

It still loads with the Default profile loaded, but I guess that does not matter as long as it changes when I load the game.
