I have an issue with SmartNav 4AT tracking precision in top left region of the screen, where mouse movements are jumpy / jerky and hard to precisely control. Especially in slow right to left movement.
Per your troubleshooting guide, I did try following:
- enable/disable or adjusting light filtering
- ensuring no other light interference was present (lights turned off in the room)
- change the reflective dot on my eyeglasses.
The only thing that seemed to help is to quickly move the cursor back to the right rand of the screen, and then try again the slow 'right to left' movement.

dras42,
Does changing the angle or placement of the camera have any impact? If you go into the control panel of the SmartNav software and select the tracking tab, where is the yellow dot placed?

hi mike, tnx for your reply!
unfortunately, no - no impact of changing angle!...
as to dot placement:
hm... right now it appeared to me... maybe i should ask somebody to shift the camera more to the left? or beneath the monitor? (now it is seated on top of it, centered.) could this play a role?
bye, dras
