track ir support for 3d max or maya

Hey guys great work on this Track Ir 5 I love it

Now my question is, can we have this support into 3d aplications such as 3d studio max, maya etc etc. I can see this tool being used for camera animations. Use the track IR 5 to control camera to direct action shots etc etc. would be cool!

I've registered to ask this same question. Is there a profile or plugin available that allows me to use TrackIR in a 3d application?

Unlike the OP, I'm not looking for motion capture or anything, rather I am looking simply to improve my workflow and interaction.

TrackIR is brilliant for games, but its potential is being severely limited without support for other applications.

As of right now the TrackIR is what it is. I would like to consider projects like this in the future, but at the moment gaming is the focus.
