Hi,Guys! A new comer needs some help here!!!

I just bought a set of TrackIR3Pro with Vector Expansion for flying IL2 Sturmovik:
Forgotten Battles/Pacific Fighter,since lack of the experience of using TrackIR
some problems come up now as follow:

1)In side the cockpit,when the view moves to the end of the Back Up direction
(no matter from the left,right or up actually),it is always jammed and shaked and
then faced to the pilot's seat or the floor of the cockpit. Why? What should I do?
And how?

2) May I fly the Forgotten Battles Series with the Vector Expansion instead of the Dot?
Will they work as the same?

3)I tried the latest software Version 4.1.025.beta.3(Public Beta),but it seems like
couldn't be run and reports error. Why?
What's the difference between Version 4.1.025.beta and Version 4.0.024?

Why I couldn't even run the Version 4.1.025.beta.3(Public Beta) ???

When the official Version 4.1.025 would be released instead of the beta???

Are you sure you set up the profile? Did you adjust the light filtering? Did you darken the room? Because your problem occur when you just install the software without adjusting anything.

Oskin, did you fully remove the old driver befor updating to the new driver? Also did you unplug the TIR Unit before uninstalling the driver and rebooting before you installed the new one? I ask because the reboot will clear the old driver from memory, therfor there is less liklyhood that the new installation becomming damaged when installing.

If you are having views jumping around then I would sugest (if you have not already) to move the TIR unit about 30" away from the reflector and about 2" above it.

The Vector is usable in any TIR game but the game has to support 6DOF for all axis to be enabled. What you will get from using the Vector in non 6DOF games is a more precise positioning data from the TIR unit.

As for the 4.0.25 full release no idea, but I have found that if no old profiles are present then the beta works fine.

I got my system re-installed and finally now I could run Version 4.1.025.beta.3(Public Beta) on my computer successfully.

But,still the view jumps while I turn to the end of UP-BACK.

Very grateful to you for your help!I was having the same problems, sometimes it worked fine, other times I got the results you've been getting. Finally figured out it has to do with the height and distance the TIR is in relation to my Trackhat/VE. I'm using the official version, I stay away from the betas.
