il2 AEP and 6 DOF ?

I am thinking of buying trackIR and vector expansion, but....
is there anyone who can supply me with an answer to this:
is it possible (when using Vector expansion) to lean left/right, to move back/forth and to move up and down? I heard il2 had only 2DOF e.g. X/Y rotation...
I'd like to know this all before passing on to my purchase.
