getting track ir3 pro to work with fs9
I cannot seem to get it to work with the 9.1 update to msfs2004. I have the 3.12 drivers installed and can only get the cursor to track in virtual cockpit. Can anyone make a suggestion or let me know how to set it up properly? Thanks

I have tested TrackIR out with the new MS patch 9.1 and everything works correctly.
Ensure that you still have "TrackIRFS2004.dll" installed in you modules folder of FS2004, although the update should not have interfeared with this module.

Just wanted to mention that I too am having problems with the 3.12 and MSFS 2004. I just reinstalled windows after having problems with service pack #2.
TrackIR software tracks it the way it should, and it works ok in IL2-sturmovik, but not in MSFS 2004. TrackIRFS2004.dll is in the modules folder...

Have you installed the MS2004 update? Did everything work prior to the update?
If you are still having issues, un-install your TrackIR software. Prior to the re-install navigate to directory where you installed TrackIR and there you will find a folder called NaturalPoint... Delete it, and continue with the install, ensuring that the box is checked for FS2004 during the software install.
This should get everything running normal again, if you are still having problems please let me know.

I have successfully instally and am running TrackIR3Pro with Vector6DOF. All runs AOK (within the limits of the game) in Pacific Fighters. Today I installed MSFS 2004 and the 9.1 upgrade. I get no response with TrackIR3Pro at all.
Do I need to delete and reinstall TrackIR3Pro in order to use it with both games?
If so, will I have to do this each time I add a game?
If so, are you working on an easier way to add games? Reinstalling each time, entering the codes etc. is hardly fun.

There is no need to uninstall/reinstall your TrackIR software. This was merely done to identify a problem with the install. As you can see from the date on the post above this was for the version 3 software.
Version 4 with Vector does not require this dll.
What language version of FS2004 do you own?

I couldn't get trackir to work in fs9 either...
how I fixed it...
reloaded the original language.dll which came with the sim...
that did it!
