I bought TrackIR for WW2OL, but I just re-installed FS2004 and can't figure out how to activate mouselook. The default pan view was joystick hat, I deleted that, but haven't been able to find anything in the game or on MS's website about using mouselook in the Virtual Cockpit. What am I forgetting to do here?
I can turn on the TrackIR, but all it does is move the cursor around...

If you have a TrackIR3 might I suggest that you download and run the version 4 software.
However if you have an earlier unit, and are still using the version 3 drivers you will have to re-install your TrackIR software.
When prompted you must ensure that the box is checked for FS2004 during the install, so that the dll can be loaded into the modules directory.
If you are still having problems please let me know.

I have TrackIR Pro 3, and it's version 3.11
I downloaded and installed the version 4, but it seems to be a separate program, the main function of which seems to be activating Vector Expansion, which I don't have yet. There was a checkbox for FS2002 during install, but none for FS2004.

You can still use the version 4 software without Vector.
You only need to activate if you have bought a Vector Expansion, it will run perfectly without it, but will only give you 2DOF support and not 6DOF.
There is NO dll that is required for FS2004 with the new software.

I uninstalled both versions, then re-installed the software from disk. It asked me what folder my FS2004 was in (or had me verify that the folder it found was the right one), and apparently added something to the "modules" folder, because everything works fine now in FS2004. Now all I have to do is re-set all my settings (like an idiot I didn't save the old ones). Thanks for the replies.
(The moral of the story is, if you install FS2004 AFTER you install TrackIR, it won't work...)
