JIm/Halstead check out this post for CFS3

Post by Hotdognz »

It may be worth contacting this guy as he states he has written a app to enable mouse panning in CFS3.

Yep, he's also posted in the Falcon forums at Frugal's World. Very excitied about this one since it apparently maps mouse to keystrokes. Hope he sends it to me or finds a host soon. Of course this is one more program running when GX could be doing it, but if it gets my TrackIR working in Falcon, I'll be really happy!

BUMP!
Hotdognz, has he sent you the file yet? I haven't got it yet. I guess he sent it to netwings.org but they haven't posted it yet. Frugal has offered to host it too.

Thanks! It looks like a great little program but it still seems to have the same problems on Win98 systems that GX has (not sending the keystrokes directly into the keyboard buffer). No solution for Falcon yet If I had CFS3 I'd test it for it too.

Hello:

We have been trying very hard to get Microsoft to listen to us, but no luck so far. We have confirmed that there will be a patch for CFS3, but we haven't been able to get in it or find out if they are going to open up the view system like FS2002. They just don't seem to care at all, even though our user base has been emailing them.

One more email shouldn't hurt, the email address is tell_cfs@microsoft.com
