Hey, my trackir dont work anymore after a pc crash.. i restart my pc and then don't work anymore. I've plugged it in and unplugged it several times. As soon as I plug the device in, it gets very hot again(but it is still not recognized by the computer), which happened often before.
What I've tried so far:
-Multiple PC restarts
- Drivers reinstalled (newer and older versions)
-Tried all USB hubs from my PC (TrackIR was not connected to a USB hub but directly to the mainboard)

Have you tried connecting the TrackIR to a different computer, and is it detected in Device Manager?

I have the same problem. But never before problems were in WIN 8.1. Now WIN 10 (only because it required Steam) and it worked for a while before it stopped working.

The problem was resolved by purchasing a new unit. Just run the already installed control software, connect and it works perfectly.
