Lost TrackIR profile during a TrackIR software update

I lost my TrackIR profile that I loved and used when installing a new update. Does anyone know if I could recover it?

I'm new to this forum, so hopefully I'm not misusing it. I reinstalled the old version, and the old version actually used the "NaturalPoint" folder instead of the new "TrackIR5" folder in the user files. I've got my old profile but, but how do I export it to a literal file? It doesn't actually show in the "profile" folder, it's just there. I'd like to save it so this doesn't happen again. Ideas?

That's great news that the profile is still working with the older version. There are a few folders where the profiles may be stored:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\Profiles (note: AppData is a hidden folder so you may need to show hidden folders to see this one)
C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5\Profiles
C:\Program Files (x86)\TrackIR5\Profiles

When you locate it, you should be able to copy it to C:\Program Files (x86)\TrackIR5\Profiles. When you launch the TrackIR software, it will automatically copy the files to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint\TrackIR 5\Profiles, and they should be in the list of Profiles.
